Chanya Bayla Somboonvechakarn


Chanya Bayla Somboonvechakarn, 7 years old.

Bayla is Thai-Indonesian who currently studies at NIST International School in Bangkok,
Thailand. She loves music; piano, singing and violin. She has participated in various national/
international competitions and concerts. Currently, Bayla is taking piano lesson with Prof. Irina
Novikova. At the age of 6 years old Bayla had the opportunity to perform in concerto as soloist
with Sunrise String Orchestra. Bayla is also a book enthusiast. Sitting before a piano, she is a
super energetic girl flying in her music world. Holding a book under a lamp, she is a quiet
explorer discovering another fantastic world. In her spare time, Bayla enjoys swimming and
doing artworks.


Music Activities:
June 2019, passed with Distinction in ABRSM Violin Grade 1 Exam.
October 2018, Guest Soloist for Sunrise String Orchestra (SSO), performed Berkovich Piano
Concerto, Op. 44 No. 2, in Music Hall - Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand.
December 2018, passed with Distinction in ABRSM Piano Grade 4 Exam
June 2017, Participated as pianist in Charity Recital for Children of the Forest arranged by NIST
International School student group.

participated in gala concert at Takatsuki Gendai Gekijo Middle Hall, Osaka, Japan
